About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and self-driven Node.js Developer Intern to join our backend development team. You will work on building scalable web services and APIs using Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks, gaining valuable real-world development experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js
- Write clean, efficient, and modular code
- Work with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers
- Participate in debugging, testing, and deployment processes
- Document application features, logic, and workflows
- Stay up to date with the latest backend technologies and practices
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with Express.js and asynchronous programming
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Knowledge of databases (MongoDB or SQL-based)
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
