About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled PHP Developer Intern to join our web development team. You will assist in developing dynamic websites and web applications using PHP and related technologies while learning best practices in backend development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, coding, and modifying websites and web apps using PHP
- Work on backend logic, database integration, and API development
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing PHP-based applications
- Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers
- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code
- Work with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and testing
- Learn and apply MVC frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (optional but preferred)
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) is a plus
- Understanding of OOPs and MVC architecture
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
