About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. You will assist in improving our website’s visibility on search engines and learn the core strategies and tools that drive organic traffic. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SEO, content optimization, and web analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, or SEMrush
- Optimize on-page SEO elements including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and image alt text
- Assist in off-page SEO tasks such as backlink analysis, directory submissions, and outreach
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
- Conduct competitive analysis and audit websites for SEO improvements
- Support the content team with SEO-friendly blog/article optimization
- Help in updating and managing website content as per SEO best practices
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs (preferred)
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related fields
